POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Development Manager will leverage excellent phone sales, presentation skills and the ability to spin sell like a champion in medium-sized groups and in one-on-one arenas. You will contribute strong B2B sales experience to help expand new markets and grow our organization. Must have an "all- hands-on-deck attitude", a willingness to pitch in and get things done. This position reports to General Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a Full-Time, Exempt position. The basic functions of your position will include, but not limited to:
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to generate accounts/leads.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to generate a steady job count.
  • Call on and present to medium sized groups and one-on-one, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quoting appropriate prices.
  • Call on adjusters and contractors to develop relationships for future revenue streams.
  • Expanding existing customers and building customer loyalty.
  • Work with sales leadership to generate ideas for sales contests and employment engagement initiatives.
  • Meet pre-determined revenue goals through individual activities and activities of direct reports.
  • Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • High School graduation or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a sales representative role, preferably B2B, a plus
  • One year of prior management experience or demonstrated willingness and ability to learn management basics.
  • Positive and Enthusiastic
  • Strong intrapersonal skills
  • Exceptional written, verbal communication, presentation and social media skills
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
  • Hardworking, persistent, and dependable
  • Flexible, creative, and able to work in a non-structured developing work environment.
  • Demonstrated capacity to think "outside the box", communicate and sell new ideas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Salary $70,000 to $75,000 DOE plus commission
