Job Summary

The Coordinator, Creative Project Development, is responsible for managing the creative project development for assigned guest-facing and internal creative advertising. This role includes overseeing projects related to Film-Forward Initiatives and Marketing, Food & Beverage Marketing, Gift Cards and National Sales Marketing, and Loyalty Marketing as needed. The primary objective is to manage these projects effectively from the initial information gathering stage through to final delivery. This includes creating and presenting project scopes and budgets, recommending resource assignments when necessary, and tracking invoices.This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation.

What you will be doing:

  • Review documentation, project scopes, and costs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in resource assignment, including internal teams and external agencies, as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to set and manage project timelines and expectations, including assigning tasks, tracking progress, communicating milestones, and delivering final assets.
  • Provide quality control throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the final delivery of assets meets established standards.
  • Optimize and streamline project planning, development, and delivery processes, with support from the Supervisor, to reduce overhead and direction issues, enabling teams to focus on delivering innovative assets efficiently.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality assets on time, within budget, and aligned with marketing objectives for launching promotions, offers, new products, and more.
  • Assist in developing and presenting budget forecasts.
  • Track invoices and compare actual spending against budgets.
  • Identify and address variances in spending and recommend solutions.
  • Produce financial reports as needed and communicate relevant information to stakeholders.
What we need from you:
  • 1+ years of experience with an agency, marketing, or related company, preferably in a client-service organization.
  • 1+ years of client services experience with primary accountability for peer-level client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the creative industry and retail marketing.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to identify and resolve risks or conflicts with projects and timelines.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge of Visio and MS Project.
  • Basic knowledge of pre-press, design, and interactive processes.
  • Experience coordinating multiple full project lifecycles from business development to final delivery.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where accountability is essential to maintaining company success.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and manage deadlines with minimal supervision.
