About the Job

We are hiring ideal candidates able to appropriately identify the needs of both current and new customers in order to support customers in their success using our products. This is achieved through initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on delivering results despite changing conditions.

Self-assurance, and the confidence to purposely drive toward results while constantly problem solving and engaging the commitment of others is essential. This job requires the ability to act independently, have a sense of urgency and the confidence to handle a variety of challenges and a full commitment to the success of the business and high standard of achievement.

The emphasis is on results, and effective systems that achieve results through and with people. Goals are met by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients, internal team members and our excellent suppliers.

Territory and Travel

  • Multiple territories available:

-South Eastern, PA - Includes Counties of Chester, Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware and Philadelphia.

-Central, PA - Includes Counties of York, Lancaster, Dauphin, Cumberland and Adams.

-Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania and Northern New Jersey.

  • Travel: Readiness and desire for 60% daily travel to territory customers.
  • Preferred Residence: Within sales territory or local to the Exton, PA office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow relationships with established customers while developing your own list of potential opportunities and customers;
  • Track all open tasks and projects, constantly evaluating the quality of service delivered to ensure they are completed on time and to the customer's satisfaction;
  • Communicate account and project status with internal teams, including sales, customer support and sales engineering management;
  • Ability to creatively solve complex technical issues and customer needs;
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of technical developments and industry practices (for both yourself and the education of customers);
  • Willingness, ability and desire for regional travel, this is a client facing role and regular travel throughout the region is required.

  • Ability, confidence and integrity to take risks and work independently;
  • Decision-making focused on implementing practical, timely solutions;
  • Dependable and prompt with a strong sense of urgency;
  • Ability to learn new procedures and functions as needed, strong reasoning skills, reading skills, business skills, math skills, analytical skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and presentation skills;
  • Strong time management, organization and the ability to multitask.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or a related field;
  • 2+ years in a client facing role;
  • Knowledge of Steam, Valves & Automation, Filtration, Rupture Disks and Instrumentation is preferred;
  • Proficient with MS Office, CRM, ERP and software applications;
  • Valid Driver's License required;
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
