The Community Health Accreditation Partner, Inc. (CHAP) is an independent, non-profit accrediting body established in 1965. CHAP standards assess the quality of healthcare in home and community-settings nationwide including home health agencies, hospices, private duty home care, home medical equipment suppliers, pharmacies, and providers of palliative care.

This is a fully remote position. Ideal candidate would be based in Eastern Time zone.

As a Manager of Strategic Partnerships, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth. You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business contracts, while also managing and growing the sales pipeline. You will need to meet individual sales targets and contribute to the team's overall sales objectives through a well-executed business development plan. Additionally, you will engage with CHAP accredited customers using effective sales and communication strategies, ensure accurate data management, and build strong relationships with industry stakeholders and strategic partners. This position supports the Senior Vice President of Customer Relations, and the administration of daily activities related to outbound sales initiatives, marketing, and customer onboarding for accreditation, certification and education services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for identifying, pursuing and closing new business contracts. Meeting production targets.
  • Identifies and pursues new and existing business development targets.
  • Supports relationship building with industry stakeholders and key strategic partners.
  • Attends industry functions, such as association events, conferences, and trade shows, and provides feedback/information on the market and innovative trends.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends that could create opportunities or pose a threat to CHAP's business development initiatives.


Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in community-based healthcare sales, excellent customer service skills and be comfortable with cold calling sales techniques. Must have an associate's degree or equivalent (bachelors preferred), at least two years of healthcare sales experience, and at least one year of community-based health (home health, hospice, home care, etc.) & one year of CRM experience. Must have the ability to work remotely.

This is a full-time remote position. Due to the nature of this role, lifting of materials and equipment up to 25 pounds is required. Extended periods of sitting/standing are required.

Local and national travel may be required. Fluency in the English language is required. Candidates must be able to observe, discern and comprehend written documents effectively to perform this job. Extended use of a computer and telephone are required.
