Reports To: Director of SEU Network Enrollment

Overview

The SEU Network Enrollment Counselor is pivotal in driving the university's recruitment and
admission efforts across SEU network sites within a specified geographic territory. This role
involves executing critical enrollment processes, empowering SEU network sites to maximize
student recruitment for sustainable growth, and directly engaging with prospective students
through the admission process. Effective community engagement, strategic communication, and
effective customer service are essential components of this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment and Enrollment

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored to the local demographics
of each site within the assigned territory.
• Manage the entire admissions process for prospective students, from initial
contact through enrollment, ensuring a personalized and engaging experience.
• Evaluate applications, manage admission processes, and make decisions on
undergraduate admissions with discretion and independent judgment.
• Conduct affordability conversations, provide financial literacy education, and
make recommendations regarding financial aid to prospective students and their
families.
• Review competitive market data and develop resources, participate in meetings,
and trainings that assist in Network site enrollment activities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local community organizations,
churches, schools, and other potential partners to enhance recruitment efforts.
• Attend and participate in regional and network-wide events, providing insights
and support to partner sites.
• Conduct outreach activities as necessary; including high school visits, college
fairs, and community events to promote the university and its programs.

Collaboration and Communication

• Maintain regular communication with site directors to update on recruitment
progress and resolve any issues that may affect student enrollment.
• Provide ongoing support and training on CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce),
enrollment software, and effective recruitment practices.
• Provide Network site directors regular updates, enrollment training sessions, and
encouragement to ensure alignment with university objectives.
• Work closely with academic advisors and student financial services officers to
ensure prospective students receive comprehensive guidance and support.

• Equip assigned sites with updated promotional materials, communication flows,
recruitment campaigns, and strategic guidance to adapt to changing market
conditions.

Data Management and Reporting

• Utilize CRM tools to track interactions with prospective students and analyze data
to refine recruitment strategies.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on recruitment activities, outcomes, and
prospective student engagement metrics to senior leadership and assigned site
directors.

Student Guidance and Support

• Provide counsel and assistance to prospective students regarding admission
requirements, site and program selection, and the application process.
• Address concerns and questions from prospective students and their families in a
timely and effective manner.
• Assist in organizing in person and virtual information sessions and events for
prospective students.

Knowledge Base & Skill Set Required

• Comprehensive understanding of higher education enrollment processes, CRM
platforms, and data analysis.
• Strong project management, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in interfacing with diverse populations and managing relationships under
stressful situations.
• Independent judgment and discretion in policy application and procedural
recommendations.

Qualifications

• Strong Christian faith and adherence to SEU's core values and beliefs.
• Bachelor’s degree required, additional experience in admissions, marketing, or related
field preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Background in public relations, sales, or church operations.
