Note: This is for one of our clients, not avua directly Key Responsibilities: Design and specify instrumentation and control systems for energy projects, including power plants, renewable energy facilities (solar, wind), and oil & gas installations. Develop detailed engineering documents, such as instrument datasheets, specifications, and installation drawings. Conduct technical evaluations of instrumentation equipment and components, ensuring compatibility with project requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers to integrate instrumentation systems into overall project designs. Perform site surveys and inspections to assess existing instrumentation systems and propose upgrades or modifications as necessary. Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and startup phases, ensuring instrumentation systems are installed and calibrated correctly. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to instrumentation systems, ensuring minimal disruption to project schedules and operations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in instrumentation engineering within the energy sector, with a focus on power generation, renewable energy, or oil & gas projects. Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles, process control systems (DCS/PLC), and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus). Proficiency in instrumentation design software (e.g., SPI, InTools) and familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools for creating engineering drawings. Familiarity with international standards and codes relevant to instrumentation engineering (e.g., ISA, IEC). Fluency in English; Arabic language skills considered advantageous.
