Key Responsibilities- Provide technical direction and supervision to a team of designers, ensuring the successful delivery of electrical and instrumentation projects.
- Develop and implement design and delivery strategies to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and delivery.
- Develop and maintain technical standards and guidelines for electrical and instrumentation design and delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced designers and engineers.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality control and assurance processes.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of company-wide technical standards and guidelines.
- 15+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation design and delivery.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including design and delivery principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of designers and engineers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex technical problems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices, including project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Professional certification in electrical or instrumentation engineering, such as PE or P.Eng.
- Experience with project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Strong understanding of company-wide technical standards and guidelines.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
