The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities Division, Operations Bureau. Under the general supervision of the Operations Bureau Chief, this position is responsible for ensuring the Division and its contracted providers are in compliance with contract requirements. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity** * * * Extensive knowledge of the theory and principles of government accounting, procurement and contracting. Considerable knowledge of AWACS. * Thorough knowledge of state procurement, risk management and contracting laws and procedures. * Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing, and to maintain effective working relationships with employees, contractors, other agencies and the public is critical to this position. * Ability to perform intellectual analysis and evaluation in forming a variety of administrative and program management responsibilities; to independently research and interpret information and develop evaluation methods and procedure for state and federal contracts and grants. * Meet minimum qualifications: o Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Services or related field. o Five or more years of relevant experience, including at least three years in state procurement. o Experience in contract management and/or resource management is preferred. * * How to Apply** To be considered for a DPHHS position, submit the following required documents with your application on the State of Montana Careers website.
