Vice President, Account Management

Position Summary: As the Vice President (VP) of Sales, you will serve as a pivotal member of Visteon's Global Commercial Leadership Group, responsible for spearheading new business wins (NBWs) and enhancing program profitability within the region. This role demands a strategic mind that thrives on building strong relationships at multiple levels within key Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), especially focusing on purchasing and engineering departments to unlock first opportunities. With your deep knowledge of at least one OEM and a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape, you'll leverage these insights to lead our commercial activities, driving growth and maintaining Visteon's position as a chosen technology partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Planning & Leadership: Develop a comprehensive commercial business plan that aligns with Visteon's overarching goals. Utilize data analytics and industry insights to establish Visteon as a preferred technology partner, leading customer negotiations and strategic account management.
- Profitability Enhancement: Innovate and implement strategies to bridge gaps and enhance program profitability, including VAVE and DCR initiatives. Work closely with cross-functional leaders to execute pricing strategies and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Operations Excellence and Forecasting: Establish a robust framework for sales forecasting and budgeting, ensuring accurate and consistent processes. Monitor market dynamics to anticipate shifts and prepare proactively.
- Stakeholder Management and Effectiveness: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations and within Visteon. Attract and develop top talent, fostering a culture of high performance and innovation.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and tools. Act as an industry advocate, providing insights into trends and opportunities to maintain competitive edge.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related field.
- 16+ years of experience in a regional or global commercial leadership role within the automotive industry.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with American OEMs, particularly in purchasing and engineering domains.
- Comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and ability to position Visteon favorably within it.
- Proven track record in leading successful commercial strategies and sales operations.
- Expertise in automotive digital cockpit and electrification technologies.
- Exceptional strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership behaviors, including the ability to lead from the front, build strong teams, and inspire change.
- A customer-centric approach, driven by innovation and a commitment to results.
- Experience with dynamic, long-term technology and product development strategies.
