Position Overview:

The Blossoms is seeking a Senior Regional Business Office Manager to take charge of regional support operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of business office processes across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts receivable for the designated region.
  • Supervise resident documentation, financial statements, and account management.
  • Provide training to local business office managers and Executive Directors on established procedures and responsibilities.
  • Fill in for any facility during staff shortages or absences.
  • Address resident inquiries related to billing and account issues.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to resolve any business office concerns raised by facility Administrators.
  • Conduct weekly site visits to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare exit reviews and reports for the Administrator, Business Office Manager, and Regional Manager following each facility visit.
  • Perform in-house accounts receivable assessments and compile a senior business office manager report upon completion of visits.
  • Consolidate and verify monthly census data after the facility's monthly end close is confirmed.
  • Conduct quarterly audits of business office operations.
  • Travel within the region and occasionally to other regions for meetings and training sessions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Exhibit proficiency in PCC and RFMS systems.
  • Commit to maintaining ethical standards and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Travel Requirements: This position requires extensive travel, approximately 95% of the time.

Experience Requirements: A minimum of 4 years of experience in long-term care settings is required.

Knowledge Requirements: Familiarity with the Medicaid Pending process and expertise in PCC and payer setup is essential.
