Position Overview:
The Blossoms is seeking a Senior Regional Business Office Manager to take charge of regional support operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of business office processes across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable for the designated region.
- Supervise resident documentation, financial statements, and account management.
- Provide training to local business office managers and Executive Directors on established procedures and responsibilities.
- Fill in for any facility during staff shortages or absences.
- Address resident inquiries related to billing and account issues.
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager to resolve any business office concerns raised by facility Administrators.
- Conduct weekly site visits to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Prepare exit reviews and reports for the Administrator, Business Office Manager, and Regional Manager following each facility visit.
- Perform in-house accounts receivable assessments and compile a senior business office manager report upon completion of visits.
- Consolidate and verify monthly census data after the facility's monthly end close is confirmed.
- Conduct quarterly audits of business office operations.
- Travel within the region and occasionally to other regions for meetings and training sessions.
- Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Exhibit proficiency in PCC and RFMS systems.
- Commit to maintaining ethical standards and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Travel Requirements: This position requires extensive travel, approximately 95% of the time.
Experience Requirements: A minimum of 4 years of experience in long-term care settings is required.
Knowledge Requirements: Familiarity with the Medicaid Pending process and expertise in PCC and payer setup is essential.
