Job Responsibilities
• Demonstrate our Core Values of Safety, Accountability, Good to Great and All In
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities in meeting company requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers while ensuring compliance with DFARs and supplier flow downs.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet production schedules and objectives.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing and engineering teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
• Implement and maintain purchasing policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Resolve issues related to the supply chain, including supplier performance and invoice discrepancies.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum of three years of purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment .
• Demonstrated understanding of DFARs and supplier flow down requirements.
• Proven track record of negotiating contracts and improving supply chain efficiencies.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier management.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field is preferred.
