Ventus Solutions is seeking a Logistics and Sustainment Team Lead with experience in acquisitions to join our exciting team supporting missions in national security. The person in this role will provide management and oversight of logistics and sustainment requirements for all Customs & Border Patrol (CBP) acquisitions. This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in the life cycle sustainment requirements of new technology. The candidate will provide strategic oversight for lifecycle logistics policy development and implementation, and the ideal candidate will have a robust background in logistics and sustainment management, with proven experience in lifecycle logistics policy, planning, and execution. The candidate must have strong coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders, and a track record of enhancing system performance while reducing lifecycle costs.

The anticipated work location is on site in Washington DC.

Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 15 + years acquisition logistics planning and sustainment experience
  • Ability to lead a team with geographically separated members and customers
  • Experience with tools to enhance logistical planning
  • Secret clearance
Desired Experience
  • Top Secret clearance or previous CBP background investigation
  • Experience directly supporting DHS programs, especially with border and/or maritime security
