Our multi-lingual (English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish) accredited Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RD/RDN) provide solutions that meet people's food and nutritional needs. Through individual consultations, we provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for diseases and conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease and more. We also offer on-line SmartEater Nutrition Programs that targets weight loss, and diabetes management. Aside from in-clinic services, we also conduct out-clinic corporate and community wellness events, as well as private speaker engagements.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site /hybrid Outpatient Registered Dietitian role located in Alhambra, CA and City of Industry, CA. Fluent in Spanish or Chinese is required. As an Outpatient Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy to patients, including children, with health concerns, like diabetes, heart disease, underweight/overweight, chronic kidney disease, food allergies and intolerance. You will work with members of the healthcare team to coordinate care, assess nutritional status, develop and implement nutrition care plans, and evaluate and document patient outcomes. We provide flexible work schedule.

Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in an in-patient or out-patient setting
  • Strong clinical nutrition knowledge, including proficiency in nutrition assessment, medical nutrition therapy, and patient education skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) and nutrition-related software programs a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
