Registered Pharmacist

Registered Pharmacist - Alhambra, CA

Compensation: $50 to $55 per hour

Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a Registered Pharmacist for a reputable specialty pharmacy in Alhambra. The ideal candidate should have experience as a Registered Pharmacist in long-term care and/or retail settings and must be a licensed pharmacist in California.

About the job

The Registered Pharmacist is accountable to the board for ensuring that a registered establishment complies with all applicable state laws and rules regarding the profession of pharmacy, medication production, and drug distribution. The registered pharmacist is responsible for overseeing the establishment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs the duties of a pharmacist working in a long-term-care pharmacy in compliance with policy and state/federal regulations.

• Works independently; demonstrates leadership in the practice of pharmacy.

• Strong attention to detail and maintaining attention to detail in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

• Strong ability to adapt and produce results in a fast-growing company.

• Delegates aspects of pharmacy practice to a pharmacy intern/clerk or pharmacy technician within the parameters of their job description.

• Implements policy and regulatory required record systems and processes for the pharmacy.

• Be available for on-call services if required.

• Other tasks as assigned by Management

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years experience as a Registered Pharmacist in a retail or Long-term care setting

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of California

• At least 2 years of experience managing a specialty pharmacy

• Experienced and motivated pharmacist, determined to improve care for our patients

• Able to work in Alhambra, CA

• Authorized to work in the U.S
