East El Paso Animal Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team At East El Paso, we are dedicated to providing top-notch care for our furry, and not so furry friends. Our state-of-the-art facility offers innovative diagnostic equipment such as CT, ultrasound and endoscope, allowing opportunities to enhance your medical knowledge and further develop your skills as a veterinary professional. What You’ll Do:
- Assist veterinarians and technicians in providing medical treatments, diagnostics, and procedures
- Safely handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and assist with client communication
- Provide compassionate care and support to clients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and patient areas
- Continually advance your knowledge base and skill set
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent patient care
- Ability to work well in a team and handle stressful situations in a calm manner
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-changing environment
