Our leading communications tech client is hiring a Cloud Security Engineer to support the team with some operational projects. In this role, you would be approving code reviews, working with various teams for cloud requests, supporting engineers with various tools, etc. You would be joining a dynamic and high performing team that all work remotely throughout the United States, Ireland and Spain. There is a potential opportunity for conversion based on worker fit, productivity and ongoing business need. Job Duties
• Completing Security Operations tickets
•Completing Other Cloud Security Operational Work Tickets
•Reviewing IAM templates
•Handling CloudFormation operational work
•Managing AWS Account Closure requests
•Processing GCP Cloud Support Requests
•Providing Cloud Security Tooling Support
•Conducting quarterly security tooling and access reviews.
•Other Cloud Security Operational Tasks as may be assigned by your
manager.
Requirements:
• 2 years experience in major cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) and expertise in managing at least one of the three.
•A good understanding of infrastructure-layer, network-layer ,
and application-layer attacks and mitigation methods.
•Familiar with Infrastructure-as-Code.
•Familiar with Kubernetes security concepts.
•Familiar with security misconfiguration and vulnerability
management processes and cloud security posture management tools.
•Proficient in at least one programming/scripting languages.
•Ability to succeed as a cross-functional partner in the security
space.
•Good communication skills.
