We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate to join our Investment Banking Team located in Washington, DC.

The successful candidate will become a key player in the execution of the firm's investment banking business. Using your related experience, you will assist senior bankers and will work on multiple projects and transactions at any given time. Associates are exposed to all aspects of sourcing and executing transactions within a fast-growing investment banking practice.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed financial analysis around existing banking clients, peers and target companies
  • Create corporate presentations to assist in securing banking engagements
  • Build financial statements and valuation models for capital market transactions
  • Assist with the execution of transactions by performing due diligence and preparing document preparation
  • Serve as liaison between internal and external counterparties

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

The following are the minimum requirements for this position:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in an investment banking role
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in finance, business, or a related field
  • Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis with a proven proficiency with PowerPoint & Excel
  • Strong financial modeling skills and experience analyzing financial statements
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • FINRA SIE, Series 7 and/or 79 licenses
  • Candidate must be authorized to work permanently in the U.S. This role does not offer sponsorship for work visas.

The ideal candidate will quickly integrate and become a meaningful contributor to the team.
