Job Description:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and leading prospects through the early stages of the buyer's journey by creating awareness and providing education. This role requires a driven individual with a passion for growing companies, creativity, articulate professionalism, and the ability to understand client pain points and how our solutions address them.

What you will work on:

  • Prospecting: Identify potential clients through research, cold calling, networking, and system-generated leads.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify leads based on specific criteria to ensure they align with our target customer profile.
  • Initial Contact: Contact prospective clients to introduce TeamSupport's products/services and understand their needs.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or demos with qualified leads for the Account Executive.
  • Product Knowledge: Learn and apply knowledge of TeamSupport product features to match the needs of potential clients.
  • Inquiry Response: Answer inquiries from prospects concerning products, their uses, and industry information.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective lead generation and conversion strategies.
  • Reporting: Periodically prepare and report results, status of accounts, and leads to the manager.
  • Goal Achievement: Maintain monthly goals and quotas.
Requirements

What we are looking for in you:
  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in a sales, marketing, or business development role.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Sales Skills: Confident in cold calling and excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Tech-Savvy: Ability to grasp new technologies and software; proficiency with Google platform, Salesforce, and SalesLoft is a plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to identify potential opportunities.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized with attention to detail.
