System Administrator-(Hybrid)

This is a hybrid role with at least 3 days onsite per week in Knoxville TN. Candidates must reside in the Knoxville area and be able to pass a background/drug and credit check to be considered for this position.

System Administrator-(Hybrid) Job Summary

Administer and provide central accountability for all Infrastructure server services which include those activities associated with the function, organization, expansion, and technical support of existing and future Windows and Linux-based physical and virtual system configurations and supporting systems software (e.g., operating systems, utilities, databases, cloud services, and middleware) necessary to deliver the required services (e.g. hosting, web, messaging, remote access, security administration) to support the organization's systems.

System Administrator-(Hybrid) Responsibilities

  • Maintain the physical and virtual server infrastructure located in the onsite data center as well as Microsoft Azure
  • Maintain the Active Directory environment including Azure Active Directory, DHCP, GPO, DNS, and certificate management
  • Manage and monitor the O365 environment including mail flow and collaboration products such as email, SharePoint, Teams and licensing

System Administrator-(Hybrid) Duties

  • Associates degree or 3+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft Azure, system infrastructure, network topology and operating systems
  • Experience with MS Server, Hyper-V, VMware, O365, and Active Directory
