POSITION OVERVIEW

This role involves the implementation of moderately complex tools and processes, alongside proactive support and maintenance of Radiology and Cardiology information systems. Under direct supervision, the position effectively addresses customer requests, including troubleshooting and managing small to medium-scale projects. The individual will take ownership of less complex issues, demonstrating responsiveness and an aptitude for documenting customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily support and maintenance for enterprise information systems within the Radiology and Cardiology Departments.
  • Manage equipment upkeep and replacement, as well as oversee image workflow, archiving, data collection, and report generation.
  • Collaborate with technical staff, IT, and vendors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work closely with radiologists, cardiologists, and other physicians to maintain assigned information systems.
  • Coordinate with operational leadership to address departmental needs.
  • Support projects related to the growth and enhancement of IT systems within the organization.
  • Ensure operational functions align with customer requirements and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain and support assigned information systems in accordance with departmental policies and vendor guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison between Radiology, Cardiology, and other relevant departments.
  • Assist other staff members to ensure the accuracy of information for clinical users.
  • Help with various tasks to optimize departmental operations, including obtaining quotes and monitoring equipment needs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and propose solutions for operational challenges across clinical areas.
  • Engage with the quality review process to identify future needs and enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Oversee vendor activities during the installation and implementation of new systems.
  • Work with other departments to minimize disruptions during upgrades or equipment downtime.
  • Prepare reports for administration regarding information systems as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum Education:
    • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Radiology, Cardiology, or a related field.
  • Minimum Work Experience:
    • Two years of experience in Information Technology, Radiology, Cardiology, or a related field.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
