Position Summary:
The position will be primarily responsible for creation and management of alerts, actions and reports in a variety of network management platforms such as Solarwinds, StatusPage, Pingdom and Alertfind. The NOC Coordinator consults with the appropriate IT teams to resolve problems based on monitoring and alerting. The position will also work closely with all Support teams and members of the IT Operations teams to develop a strong all-round understanding of their systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Perform daily review to add or remove devices from monitoring as required
  • Perform daily review to report on the status of all monitored systems
  • Provide timely response to all requests for new monitoring of systems or devices
  • Track and ensure resolution and documentation of Incidents/Problems
  • Configure and maintain monitoring, escalation and status reporting of network nodes
  • Use of ticketing system to track work and call logs
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
  • Schedule flexibility with ability to work non-standard business hours
  • Must have strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal
  • Must possess a keen analytical and structured approach to problem solving
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meticulous attention to detail are key skills for this job
  • Basic Knowledge and full understanding of standard networking protocols (TCP/IP, SSH, SFTP, HTTP) and server monitoring tools such as SolarWinds (6 months to one year experience)
  • Basic Data Center Experience to include some combination of the following technologies: Windows, Linux, Cisco, Avaya, MS-SQL, Aruba. (6 months to 1 year experience)
  • Basic Knowledge in VoIP Technologies (Entry level knowledge)
  • Basic Knowledge and basic understanding of Virtualization (Entry Level knowledge)
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required


Work Environment:

Work is performed in an office environment with telephones, personal computers, and printers. The office environment is an open workspace with individual workstations. The noise level of the environment is usually moderate. This position is a sedentary position with seldom to occasional lifting of less than 11 pounds; requires frequent lifting of less than 1 pound; and may require standing less than or equal to 1/3 of the day.

Salary Range:
$16.00 - $23.65

PRA Group has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, specific working location and market position. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and PRA Group reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications and location of the selected candidate. In addition to base salary, PRA may offer additional benefits to include performance based bonus programs and/or equity programs depending on the position.
