Responsibilities: The Production Manager / Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the production teams by developing and leading the supervisory staff. This includes coordinating activities to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost goals.

Job Type: Full-Time located in Princeton Kentucky

Core Responsibilities of our Production Manager/Superintendent:
  • Role reports to Plant Manager
  • Supervise all Production Supervisors
  • Oversee all aspects of production
  • Ensuring safety, quality and productivity goals
  • Train and develop supervisors on effectively leading their teams
  • Monitor production performance metrics daily and respond immediately
Qualifications for Production Manager / Superintendent:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent four-year college or technical school and/or 6 or more year's related experience and /or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience as a Production Manager, Plant Manager, Plant Superintendent, Production Superintendent, etc.
  • Technical or mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Ability to build, inspire, motivate and mentor supervisory employees and their teams
  • Excellent project management skills

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent four-year college or technical school
  • Minimum experience of 6 years in production environment preferred.
  • High proficiency in leading production teams in a high volume manufacturing setting
  • Great communicator across all ranks of an organization
  • Proficiency in Manufacturing Business Systems and Labor Management Systems
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing Systems and Techniques
