Interim Manager of Care Management Needed in New Mexico Healthcare System

The Position

  • An Interim Manager of Care Management is needed to oversee and support the Care Management operations at a prominent healthcare facility.
  • This role will report directly to the Director of Care Management.
  • The Interim Manager will coordinate RN travelers on assignment, document case management guidelines, maintain accurate records, mentor and orient staff, and engage employees to ensure accountability.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to build trust within the team. Familiarity with complex computer systems, academic settings, and Level 1 trauma designations is essential.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Active RN license required.
  • Significant care management experience, including discharge planning, and proven leadership and mentoring capabilities required.
