About the Role:

Job Title - Sales Rep

How You Will Contribute:

This position will coordinate all direct sales activities relative to those accounts and prospective accounts that support the following strategy:

Leverage Hood Container Corporation's integrated packaging and service capabilities to deliver "end-to-end" supply chain innovation that helps our customer-partners 'win" their go-to-market challenges on a regional and national basis.

Other responsibilities related to GROWTH include:

Uncovering value based selling opportunities that increase Hood's value to the customer.

Analyzing and qualifying prospective accounts

Conducting initial contact and subsequent sales calls to accounts, selling and establishing relationships necessary to produce first time and repeat business.

Developing an intimate knowledge of the target markets entire packaging supply chain and making recommendations on product and service offerings.

Surpassing sales quota commitments for area of responsibility

Implementing sales strategies

Creating and maintaining customer and prospective relationships

Managing and closing new sales

Managing working capital and improving cash flow

Working closely with plant management and plant schedulers

Traveling as necessary to cover territory and fulfill any other responsibilities.

Keeping current on the competitive activity in the area

Identifying and understanding strengths and weaknesses of competitors of Hood

Managing the documentation and communication of feedback for customer base

What it Takes:

A bachelor's degree is preferred - equivalent experience can be substituted.

Candidates must have proven success of meeting an exceeding goals and quotas. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) also required.
