Assists the HR Department, Spring Glens Leadership Team, Spring Glens employees, and applicants with HR issues, questions and/or concerns. 2. Performs the weekly payroll functions -- such as maintaining the timekeeping information, processing, and submitting payroll. 3. Maintains employee attendance records; and assists managers with employee attendance and/or disciplinary issues upon request. 4. Processes incoming correspondence i.e., subpoenas, unemployment verifications, invoices, etc. 5. Answers phones and provides information to callers, takes messages, or transfers calls, as necessary. 6. Operates typical office equipment i.e., computers, printers, fax machines, photo copiers, phone systems, etc. 7. Greets visitors and callers, assesses the nature of their inquiries by providing assistance or directing them to the appropriate personnel. 8. Serves on the Safety Committee as a backup to the HR Representative, records and distributes meeting minutes. 9. Maintains personnel and medical files, safety records, and other business documents as directed. 10. Performs other functions as assigned by the HR Department. While the duties above generally describe the job content, not all duties are performed continually or regularly (i.e., daily, weekly, etc.). Duties performed are dependent upon the operation being supported.
