Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern

Are you passionate about inspiring people to be the best they can be? Then join us We are searching for a full time Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor-Intern (CI) for our adolescent and young adult subtance use disorder program. This position requires evenings three time as week. It is Mon-Friday with no weekends.
Our Houston location provides substance use services to people ages 12 to 80+. We primarily serve Hispanic clients.
Qualifications Include:
LCDC-I in good standing inTexas. Previous experience counseling in the substance use field preferred. Valid Texas Driver License and clear driving record (if working in a residential program). Drug screen and background check required.
Skills
Ability to professionally communicate, maintain calm in tense situations, organize, write well for client documentation, ability to build rapport with our clients and inspire them to build confidence and leadership skills by demonstrating it yourself. Ability to respond appropriately in an emergency or crisis.
