Position Summary
The Youth Services Specialist participates as a member of the Mission Delivery team of God's Pantry Food Bank with direct responsibility for Child and Adult Food Care Program, School Pantry, and Summer Food Service Programs.
Essential Duties/Functions:
- General management of all aspects of the Child and Adult Food Care Program, School Pantry Program, and Summer Food Service Programs including site selection, monitoring, food ordering, and general support.
- Assist CSFP Specialist with monitoring of CSFP agencies.
- Provide accurate reimbursement reports for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and attend annual training for both.
- Grow the School Pantry Program into schools/counties of need and maintain current schools/relationships.
- Maintain a ServSafe certification
- Prepare regular and appropriate statistical reports or records.
- Set annual goals and plan for necessary changes to best meet the needs of constituents and the organization.
- Attend food distributions such as CSFP, Thanksgiving or Produce Drops.
- Represent the food bank at appropriate community events, resource fairs, seminars, and Feeding America meetings.
- Stay abreast of current events and issues that may impact our programs.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
- Compensation $16.33/ hour

Requirements
Education/ Skills Preferred:
- 2-year degree required. 4-year degree preferred.
- Previous experience working with educational or social service programs preferred.
- Experience with food bank or federal programs preferred.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Knowledge/ability to learn about federal child nutrition programs
- Budgeting skills
- Driver's License
- ServSafe certification
- Must be available some evenings and weekends
Salary Description
$16.33 per hour
