At Rady Children's, the primary focus of our Speech Pathologists is early intervention for children 0 to 3 years of age, oftentimes on the autism spectrum, as well as medically-complex children. Speech Pathologists evaluate children with speech, language, cognitive, feeding/swallowing, and auditory impairments and provide specialized therapy to develop their language skills. Speech Pathologists craft family-centered, innovative treatment plans through onsite and virtual visits to improve the patient's functional potential. In fact, innovation is such a meaningful part of who we are that our team regularly presents outcome studies at national conferences. We welcome those who are looking to making a difference in the lives of kids in San Diego and beyond MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree 1 year of experience ASHA Certification - Speech-Language Pathologist California Speech-Language Pathologist License Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, issued by the American Heart Association Ability and experience working independently, using critical thinking skills and processes to arrive at objective, strategic, results-oriented decisions within the context of patient care and department, division, and organizational priorities PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 2 years of pediatric experience Board certification in advanced practice Bilingual English/Spanish The expected hiring range for this position is $43.57 to $59.91 Rady Children’s Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable. The range listed above does not represent the full salary range for the position but is the expected hiring range for qualified candidates.
