Our client, in the financial space, is looking to add a Social Media Coordinator to their team. This is a 6+ month contract role and would require you to go onsite 3 times a week to their office in the Back Bay.

BASIC PURPOSE:

The Social Media Coordinator will serve as an integral part of a fast-paced, high volume team working to execute the Global Social Media Strategy. The strategy includes organic social media for the brand and the employee advocacy program. This role will be working with members of the global marketing department to create, execute and publish social media content within a heavily regulated environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with internal business partners to execute social media projects in a timely manner, within corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute social media content encompassing marketing, recruiting, and firm culture.
  • Generate, edit, and publish consistent content on social media platforms while managing an organized content calendar for efficient content production and posting.
  • Publish social media organic posts to the content managements systems and direct to social platforms (Linked In, X, Facebook) following our Social playbook of guidelines.
  • Understand and embrace the analytics of company published content to help foster continuous improvement.
  • Support Social Media Senior Manager in day to day operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical expertise operating and managing major social media accounts, including on LinkedIn, X, Facebook and YouTube platforms required.
  • Direct experience using social media management tools (similar to Hootsuite, Sprinklr)
  • Extensive knowledge of the social media landscape and broader trends, possessing an awareness of the difference between successful consumer and brand content
  • Ability to analyze basic social media metrics and KPIs with platform analytics tools such as reach and engagements
  • Creative thinker with proven ability to collaborate with creative and communications' teams and is comfortable with technology
  • Responsible, ability to operate independently, demonstrating attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; works in a positive, collaborative style
  • Self-starter, taking initiative to solve problems and arrive at solutions
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to manage time, work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to execute new ideas and projects
  • Strong attention to detail and an organized, proactive approach to day to day projects and responsibilities
