Selection Criteria:
  • Understanding of Linux and Networking concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying solutions onto Azure cloud environment.
  • Experience working on Azure services such as Virtual Machines, storage, App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, AKS and more.
  • Demonstrated experience with infrastructure-as-code software such as Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Chef, CloudFormation, Blueprints, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with Python, Java, Go and/or Ruby programming languages.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps product as developer and administrator
  • Experience with modern DevOps concepts, CI/CD processes, git commands, and container platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Fargate, etc.)

Responsibilities:
  • Independent contributor IT professional providing advanced expertise to assure the effective performance of one or more elements of the organization's technical infrastructure.
  • Administer & develop on commercial cloud platforms such as Azure.
  • Plan, Install, maintain, configure Azure services including but not limited to Storage Accounts, Kubernetes clusters, EC2, CloudFront, S3, RDS, Lambda, VM, App Service, Functions and more.
  • Write code for automation and integration of diverse systems.
  • Develop software through the entire life cycle such as requirements definition, design, code, debugging, verification and test, and maintenance of software modules.
  • Work with DevOps technologies such as Terraform, Packer, Jenkins, and GitHub/GitLab.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and guide clients in the adoption of these practices.
  • Develop new and support existing applications that support services provided by the Systems Management team.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Automate repetitive manual tasks and make it available as a self-service catalog item
  • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
  • Follow best practices by enforcing standards across various technologies.
  • When provided with an objective to improve performance in their area(s) of technology, develops and implements action plans needed to effect the change.
  • Provides technical guidance and SOPs to team members where applicable.
