This role is crucial in ensuring that our sales team meets and exceeds their targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 17-20 commission-based sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals. This includes ride alongs to sales appointments and spearheading training and development.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales reps, providing regular in the moment feedback, coaching in the field, and training to improve their effectiveness and productivity.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and expand market share, aligning with company objectives.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track sales performance, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for senior management, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recruitment and Training: Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new sales representatives, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed in their roles.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management role, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in using CRM (Acculynx) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.
