WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING The IT Programmer Analyst Intern II is primarily responsible for supporting off the shelf software packages and our custom software applications. Assists in upgrading, supporting, and configuring off the shelf software packages as well as programming our custom software applications in a variety of coding languages.

  • Provides user support for off the shelf software packages used by IT and business areas.
  • Assists with installation, upgrades, configuration, and programming of off the shelf software packages.
  • Assists with integration of off the shelf software packages with other systems.
  • Develops software applications, specifically coding, programming, and debugging.
  • Tests programs; coordinates and observes testing of new or updated programs.
  • Prepares documentation for own programs. 
  • Assists in documentation and testing of new software applications.
  • Assists with technical assessment of new application requirements.
  • Assists in researching new technologies to develop and or modify information systems. 
  • Assists with project software coordination.
  • Assists with requirements development.
  • Collaborates with department heads, managers, and other stakeholders to fully understand the tasks that must be accomplished by the software changes requested.
  • Provides training and support to end-users.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
