Nooter Fort Wayne is seeking a Business Development Lead for their office located in Fort Wayne, IN Office. The Business Development Lead will be essential in growing our market share in the Fort Wayne area. The primary responsibility of this position is to sell construction and construction management services by establishing and maintaining effective contact with potential buyers. This position will be involved in the developing and identifying prospects from current clients, former clients, referral leads and other sources.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

The Business Development Lead will report directly to the Fort Wayne Area Manager. This position will be involved in the execution of business development action plans, monitoring sales activities and adjust to market changes as they arise. As the Business Development Lead, providing input and feedback on marketing initiatives, issues relevant to client's needs, and work in progress is essential to the success of the role.

The position will be responsible for initial introductions, attending pre-bid meetings, managing the CRM system (software) to ensure consistent client contact, assisting in development of sales plans and executing the sales plans. The Business Development Lead will travel locally in the Fort Wayne area up to 50% of the time. The expectation is the Business Development Lead will be meeting with current and potential clients regularly to help grow Nooter Fort Wayne.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business or technical discipline, or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience required.
  • 5+ years of related construction experiences; Good working knowledge of, and the language used in, relevant markets.
  • Experience with Construction CRM software
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, a savvy learner who is resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize accordingly to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and strong decision-making skills.
  • Highly professional and trustworthy team player.
