Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Department: Athletic Department

Reports to: Director of Athletics

Classification: Full time; Non-Exempt

DEFINITION

The Administrative Assistant position will provide support to the Athletic Director and represent Linfield Christian School Athletic program. The Administrative Assistant position will support the day-to-day activities including clerical duties, projects and events and function as a liaison to the faculty, support staff, students and parents.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Serves as the primary athletic contact for other schools, faculty, staff, parents, etc.
• Serves as the primary contact for Prime Sports (apparel/equipment) vendor.
• Serves as the athletic department liaison with the finance office.
• Maintains the athletic department accounting of annual budgets.
• Works with the finance office regarding enrollment clearance of student-athletes.
• Coordinates payment for officials through Arbiter pay platform.
• Receives and distributes all athletic department shipments.
• Manages all seasonal athletic awards, trophies and banners.
• Executes the seasonal spirit packs with head coaches, Prime Sport Rep and parents.
• Partners with Human Resources for new and returning coaches including stipend agreements.
• Maintains an accurate staff list of all coaches on the MS and HS levels.
• Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, copying, faxing, mailing and filing.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Communicate effectively.

EDUCATION
• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of two years of clerical experience, preferably in a school setting.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's function require the following physical

demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; and significant fine finger dexterity.

Generally the job requires 75% sitting, 15% walking, and 10% standing. This job is performed in a

generally clean and health environment.
