Description and Requirements

The Global Community Specialist will meet Gen Z where they spend their cyber time and influence brand affinity for Lenovo products and services. This role is responsible for maintaining a high level of engagement through a variety of strategies and tactics relatable to Gen Z, enhancing the community with relevant connections to social media channels, and creating brand stickiness and loyalty.

Responsibilities:

• Explore and participate in new strategies to grow the Lenovo Global Communities membership with a unique Gen Z perspective for member acquisition

• Moderate and promote two-way communication on all social handles (including: LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Meta, Discord, Twitch, YouTube, etc.)

• Assist Global Community Manager team with engagement, moderation, and group discussions on the Legion Gaming Community, Lenovo EDU Community, and Lenovo Pro Community

• Attract, engage, retain, guide, and inspire a Gen Z audience to buy and promote new offerings from Lenovo

• Amplify the relevant community founders and contributors, and develop programs to recognize and celebrate them

• Lead traffic to Lenovo.com and community spaces (platform, social, messaging on CRM)

• UAT new features and functions, bring new roadmap opportunities to the stakeholders of the Global Community platform

• Engage external stakeholders/seek out partnerships to develop reward/points/reverse-affiliates program

• Report on social metrics, the community and social experience, and community engagement to provide feedback and insights to leadership and partners

• Find opportunities to add impactful new content, experiences, and resources, and develop program content, including videos/webinars

• Collaborate with the content strategists, segment business owners and Sr. Manager of Global Communities to develop a quarterly content plan to align with promotional/seasonal periods

• Coordinate with WW and local Marketing, PR and Communications teams to provide engaging text, image and video content

• Monitor the community on an ongoing basis, and personally engage in the community and create new content where appropriate

• Develop and implement innovative ideas to continuously add value

• Act as the face and voice of the Lenovo brand for our three key segments focusing on Gen Z audience

• Organize and manage events to boost brand awareness

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience Social Media, Marketing and/or Communications experience
  • Bachelor`s degree
Prefered Qualifications
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of growing digital communities and managing online audience responses and messages.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
