Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Media provides advertisers with intelligent solutions to efficiently maximize exposure to desired audiences across DISH and Sling. What youre good at, leading a team responsible for:

  • Strategy Setting ambitious and clear production vision for designing reusable utilities across multiple journeys
  • Execution - On all aspects of technology product development including the definition, creation, development and implementation through a prioritized backlog of product features
  • Customer Focus Develop a deep understanding of the target market, build close relationships with key stakeholders and define a business strategy for cross-enterprise utilities
  • Partnership - Support the Media Sales team, operations team and Data team deliver exceptional value to our customers and partners
  • Technical guidance - Provide technical guidance to the dev team from time to time to meet critical deliverables and timeline

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a technical team of developers, testing & quality assurance, and product owners on improving partnerships, streamlining intake and enhancing reusability of solutions
  • Be responsible for the IT vision and execution of the platforms to support the DISH Media Sales team for Customer/Partner acquisition, ad inventory, campaign management and fulfillment, billing and campaign performance
  • Take responsibility for translating product vision into specific deliverables, and ensure rigor in execution and attention to detail by effectively managing the product feature backlog
  • Support iterative testing and ongoing improvement of the customer experience
  • Identify and partner on process improvements
  • Outline the vision for future use-cases as leverage for scalability across unique journeys
  • Focus on business impact and come up with actionable recommendations informed by high quality data analysis and metrics
  • Be at the forefront of evolving the way we work across teams and the company by incorporating design thinking, a multi-channel approach, and end to end collaboration
  • Partner with the Media Sales Data team to identify and deliver new opportunities to sell our data as a product
  • Communicate & negotiate directly with software vendors

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • At least 6+ years of experience supporting high-volume/large-scaleenvironments
  • Media industry experience (broadcast or production) preferred

Skills and Qualifications:

  • CRM Systems: Extensive experience with platforms like Salesforce
  • Order Management Systems: Proficient in Ad Sales order management systems such as MediaOcean, Decentrix, and WideOrbit
  • Ad Servers: Hands-on experience with ad servers, particularly Freewheel
  • Programmatic Buying: Familiarity with programmatic buying tools like The Trade Desk
  • Analytics and Reporting: Strong understanding of analytics and reporting tools such as Nielsen and Comscore
  • Addressable TV Solutions: Knowledge of addressable TV solutions like Invidi
  • Experience with any one of the public cloud service offerings (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Experience with any script language development (Python, Node.js, Perl)
  • Coaching & support for skills for employee development/enhancement
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to track multiple initiatives going on all at once

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year
