Job Description & Requirements
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the key and lock control system for all of UO.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In coordinator with the Security Department develops, implements and manages policies and procedures for the key control system.
- Installs, opens, repairs and refurbishes all locks and safes during and after business hours.
- Responsible for issuing keys and duplicates keys for UO.
- Performs administrative duties such as record keeping, key sign out log, safe combination changes, and ordering materials/hardware.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school degree or GED is required.
- Technical school or Associate's degree (AA) is preferred.
- 5-7 Years of Master Locksmith experience.
- 1-3 Years of Supervisory experience.
- 3-5 Years of Apprenticeship is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A background check is mandatory and results must meet Universal Orlando's background check criteria.
- Master Locksmith Certification Required.
