JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the key and lock control system for all of UO.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In coordinator with the Security Department develops, implements and manages policies and procedures for the key control system.
  • Installs, opens, repairs and refurbishes all locks and safes during and after business hours.
  • Responsible for issuing keys and duplicates keys for UO.
  • Performs administrative duties such as record keeping, key sign out log, safe combination changes, and ordering materials/hardware.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION:
  • High school degree or GED is required.
  • Technical school or Associate's degree (AA) is preferred. EXPERIENCE:
  • 5-7 Years of Master Locksmith experience.
  • 1-3 Years of Supervisory experience.
  • 3-5 Years of Apprenticeship is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A background check is mandatory and results must meet Universal Orlando's background check criteria. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Master Locksmith Certification Required.
