Attention to detail will be the name of the game as you make your way through the day. In this role, you will work closely with all departments to ensure seamless communication for both our internal and external guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet employees, vendors, and guests that come into our offices.
- Routinely answers call, emails, and distributes incoming mail.
- Assist in multiple employee engagement tasks; utilizing tracking systems as well as communicating to staff via email, phone calls, and online forums.
- Organize, inventory, and maintain office and employee recognition supplies.
- Aid in updating and auditing employees' files for training and tracking purposes.
- Assist in the distribution setup of biweekly paystubs based on employees' assigned work location and shift type.
- Communicate with multi-levels of leadership for operational updates and events.
- Maintain and update employee communication and activity boards.
- Support management in all Departments with special projects.
- One year of experience in positions involving clerical, bookkeeping, or accounting is preferred.
- Must be able to lift 30lbs.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check that could include a credit check.
- Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
- Participates in HAP's sustainability program, aka "Sustain Alaska & the Yukon", and efforts by actively recycling (where available), reducing waste, and educating guests about our commitment to the environment.
- Participate in HAP's safety culture to ensure a safe workplace for all team members and a safe vacation experience for all guests.

- Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
- Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
