Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Liberty Administrative Services, LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our adult/geriatric ESRD patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain nursing stations and examination areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Stock rooms and supply orders to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Check voice messages, screen and return telephone calls, and sort faxes to ensure timely communication.
  • Scan documents in charts to maintain accurate patient records.
  • Schedule radiology and lab appointments, biopsies, IV infusions, and referral appointments to ensure timely testing and treatment.
  • Document all phone calls and data for patient visits, including rooming and vaccinations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy, and discipline.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
