Job description summary:
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled kitting assembler. This person selects and gathers various component parts for assemblies and sub-assemblies, places components into plastic bags, then inserts sealed components into product box for distribution. The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. Precise, consistent work output is essential requiring patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time. Job knowledge and competency is built through structured step-by-step training and positive, supportive coaching from management and peers. Consistent, error free work based on defined regulations and standards are key measures of job performance success. The job environment promotes steady, methodical work output so that job routines can be completed on time and error free.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Assembles various part kits to satisfy work order requirements
- Boxes sub-assembly and final assembly kits
- Inventories all kits as completed to assure proper count
- Lifts and moves light weight to moderate weight objects
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Prefer assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work with miniature component parts for packaging
- Ability to work well with others
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
- Flexibility to effectively adapt to changing conditions and job assignments
