Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchase of raw materials, hardware, production supplies, and services to support aerospace manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order production materials, hardware, and production supplies to ERP/MRP or other organizational demand according to company guidelines.
  • Coordinate changes to purchase orders as required based on internal or external requirements.
  • Monitor and manage all assigned purchase order deliveries and maintain latest supplier commitments within the ERP system.
  • Coordinate timely with Supplier and internal departments to address receiving, invoicing, and paperwork issues through resolution.
  • Monitor and manage supplier lead times and ensure they are maintained in ERP.
  • Support the identification and development of new suppliers to reduce cost, improve cycle time, and/or enhance overall service.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One-Two (1-2) years experience related to purchasing/procurement.
  • Previous experience with material requirements planning.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent decision-making and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to accurately interpret detailed instructions.
