Role Overview:
As an Assessment Center Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing hands-on supervision and training to Youth Care Workers. This position involves overseeing the care provided to youth at the Assessment & Crisis Center, engaging them in assessment activities, and ensuring the safety and security of the physical property. If you are passionate about working with youth, managing a dedicated team, and making a positive impact, we want you on our team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train Youth Care Workers in providing care to youth residents
- Implement direct care services in accordance with established protocols
- Engage youth in assessment activities and therapeutic interventions
- Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the facility and its residents
- Collaborate with team members to create and implement individualized care plans
- Provide guidance and support to staff in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress and incidents
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures
- At least 21 years old
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Previous supervisory or staff management experience, preferably in a social services setting
- Experience working with youth in a residential or therapeutic environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Valid NC driver's license and ability to pass required screenings and trainings
