What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide first-line technical support to internal users via phone, email, ticketing system, and in-person interactions.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose a wide range of technical issues related to cloud-based applications, hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripherals including Windows and Apple PCs
  • Effectively document and manage user trouble tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of IT policies, procedures, and solutions to common user issues.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all user interactions and support tickets.
  • Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference.
  • Document and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff for further resolution.
  • Provision new laptops and configure them according to company standards.
  • Maintain inventory of company hardware and software.
  • Manage and maintain shared meeting spaces located at the Reston headquarters.
  • Manage user accounts and perform other basic IT administration tasks.
  • Stay up to date on the latest cloud technologies and industry best practices.
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge through self-directed learning and participation in training opportunities.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with users.
Location and Travel Details

This career opportunity is on-site at our Headquarter Office located in Reston, VA.

Profile of Success
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support role or related field.
  • A strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • A strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies (e.g., SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with users.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A desire to learn and stay updated on emerging technologies.
  • Experience with ticketing systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure Gov and GCC-High is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
