We are seeking a highly qualified Software Integration Engineer - Mission Package to join our team in the Multi-Domain Solutions Division. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support all-domain large-scale weapon systems, Information Technology Systems, and Command and Control Systems for the Department of Defense Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). As a Software Integration Engineer - Mission Package, you will work closely with an Integrated Product Team (IPT) for the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Processing Node (PN) to design and deliver solutions at speed, scale, and with the necessary security to provide operational advantages to the joint warfighter. ABMS is a top modernization priority for the Department of the Air Force, serving as the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management across JADC2. This role involves collaboration with Program Managers, domain engineers, and Government counterparts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital infrastructure solutions tailored to integrate mission packages within new and existing infrastructure systems.
  • Create and execute comprehensive integration plans and workflows to optimize the integration of mission packages within the digital infrastructure landscape.
  • Assist in testing and validation processes to ensure functionality and compatibility of integrated solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance throughout integration and post-deployment phases to maintain digital infrastructure systems' integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with partners to leverage cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices to enhance digital infrastructure capabilities.
  • Document integration processes, configurations, and system changes to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure accurate reference materials for future digital infrastructure initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior software development and/or software integration experience.
  • Experience with Kubernetes containerized environment and modern Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) security solutions.
  • Integration experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) commercial cloud services.
  • Experience with Command & Control (C2) or Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) software mission applications.
  • US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of integration engineering concepts applied to Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with integration of applications with zero trust infrastructure.
  • Experience with family of systems mission software applications.
