Public Trust Clearance
Proven experience as a .NET Developer
MCSD (Preferred) or MCP (Preferred)
Minimum of 5 years in software engineering.
Experience with Veterans Affairs is essential.
Familiarity with DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) is required.
Experience with VistImage is necessary.
Knowledge of AWS is a plus.
Expertise in C# and the .NET framework is crucial.
Strong understanding of web development technologies (ASP.NET, MVC, Web API).
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
Experience with database systems, including SQL Server and Entity Framework.
Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
BS degree is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will play a vital role in our software development initiatives, contributing to the creation of robust and scalable solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

Your responsibilities will include designing, coding, testing, and maintaining .NET applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Key tasks include:

  • Developing and maintaining .NET applications, ensuring code quality, performance, and security.
  • Collaborating with architects and team members to design and implement software solutions that meet client requirements and adhere to best practices.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using C# and the .NET framework.
  • Conducting unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to identify and rectify software defects.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including code comments and system documentation.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identifying and implementing performance enhancements in existing applications.
  • Adhering to security best practices and ensuring applications are developed with a focus on data protection and cybersecurity.
  • Staying updated on .NET framework updates, tools, and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements.
