ServiceNow Senior Developer

**REQUIRED: BS/BA in related discipline, or equivalent work experience (if using equivalent work experience High school diploma or GED will be required), 7+ years' experience in ITIL/ITSM work environment.
Previous experience with SQL, 3+ years' experience in the healthcare space, familiarity with HIPPA, 4+ years' experience in application/system development/programming, 3+ years ServiceNow developer experience.
** Required Certifications (at least one of the below, additional preferred): • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer • ServiceNow Certified Application Specialist - Performance Analytics • Certified Implementation Specialist (Discovery, Service Mapping, SAM, VR, ITSM) Preferred Skills: • Discovery • CMDB • Service Mapping • Mobile • Employee Center • SecOps • SPM Manager will be conducting interviews along with another Sr Developer - make sure candidates are prepared to answer process questions.
Duties:
Works with Business Analysts/Process Owners/Requesters to Product an understanding of functional requirements and to develop technical designs and solutions.
Analyzes requirements, designs, develop prototypes and orks with the Business Analysts/Process Owners/Requesters to fine tune the application, and make recommendations.
Participates in peer/code/design reviews to verify that quality standards and functional/technical requirements are met.
Design, code, test and implement moderately complex programs; Develops appropriate programs and systems documentation according to established IT standards.
Creates test scenarios and develops test plans to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design.
Enhances existing systems; participates in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews.
Supports production systems by helping resolve problems, providing timely follow-up on problem report, optimizing performance and streamlining processes
Participates in inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried out through the entire project.
Provides support, escalation response to production problem issues/errors.
Performs root cause analysis and application resolution.
Provides on call second-level escalation response for client issues and application
tickets
Ensures proper documentation and on-time delivery of all technical artifacts and deliverables.
Keeps abreast of new Tools & Technology and functionalities across the application
Promotes teamwork and leads by example. Has a strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to prioritize, complete tasks on time, and meet deadlines.
Initiates a personal training plan, continue acquiring skills and knowledge, and pursue an understanding of the organization's business plans and strategies.
Maintains highest standards of honesty and integrity. Maintains confidentiality of employee, customer and corporate information.
Provides general support, administration and maintenance for the ServiceNow platform
Creates custom applications, record producers, catalog items, reports and dashboards.
Monitors health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
Coordinates application and platform upgrades.
Education:
BS/BA in related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
