Description

Zywave's rapid growth in the marketplace requires experienced Business to Business sales professionals to maintain and grow revenue through the sales and marketing of Zywave's product suite to Carriers, their distribution channels and their clients. This is a great opportunity for an eager, detail-oriented sales professional to contribute to the success of an assigned sales region by supporting Carrier Account Executives.

What you will do:
  • Serve as the first line of contact for all outbound business development activity, and inbound leads for certain consultative solutions.
  • Develop an understanding of each Carrier customer hierarchy and contract structure to inform lead routing, efficient processes and clean data.
  • Assist Carrier Account Executives with pipeline management by conducting cold calling or email campaigns with the goal of setting meetings with decision makers.
  • Coordinate calendars for sales team and customer contacts, manage online and in person meeting invitations and create Teams meetings.
  • Send follow up emails and collateral as instructed by sales account executives.
  • Conduct cold calling campaigns with ability to set meetings with decision makers.
  • Effectively conduct online research to identify prospects and understand strategic relationships.
  • Prepare marketing and meeting collateral for distribution by sales team.
  • Escalate client issues to internal resources as needed and ensure appropriate follow up.
  • Analyze sales data and activity of the region and generate necessary team reports.
  • Assist with planning and administering team competitions and incentives.
  • Thorough data tracking of all sales-related activities and client interactions in Salesforce.com. This includes calls and emails, unique meetings set and ran, follow up and renewal meetings for high value touches and long sales cycles, as well as closed won new revenue and pipeline tracking.
  • Maintain working knowledge of extensive product suite, competitors and industry trends/topics.
  • Build relationships with peers to exchange best practices and solve problems cross functionally
What you should bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; or one year sales experience.
  • Prior experience with Insurer/Carrier insurtech organizations in a business development, support or service role.
  • Well organized and responsible with an aptitude for problem solving.
  • Team player with high level of dedication.
  • Coachable and willing to take direction from manager or mentor.
  • Cold calling experience/aptitude with strong verbal and written communication skills to persuade, influence and incite action to advance opportunities.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
  • Demonstrated computer systems knowledge, including web technologies, SFDC, pricing tools and communication portals.
