Description: Dart is looking for us to help them bring on an SAP resource to help them with an existing issue that they tried to resolve previously but were unable to locate the right person. They are looking for someone who is an expert with SDI experience using HANA extractors. This role is Project Support role. Basically, bug fixing few of the critical data before go live and advise on the system setup for better performance after go live. This role will support Strategy team as an internal customers and business users as external customers. This consultant will work with Data engineering team and Basis team in bug fixing and review and fine tune the HANA environment which would replace SAP BW. It is important that they have this background : SDI Data extraction from ECC to HANA through SAP delivered data sources – 3 or more years. #2. Ability to fix the bug with the few SAP delivered extractors - 3 or more years #3. Ability to look through the HANA environment and optimize the parameters for the best performance of HANA system after go live – 5 or more years #4. Experienced in XSA and WebIDE environment – 5 or more years. Our consultant will be working with a handful of technicians from engineering and basis teams. The right candidate must be able to communicate well and provide solutions. This is not a task only type of role. We are looking to move off of SAP BW and needs to move over everything sitting in BW that is on SQL Server. This is a brand new implement and they are extracting information from ECC to SAP HANA sidecar. This is being driven by an aggressive timeline to get everything over because their SQL licenses are expiring and if they have to renew them they will be locked in for 3 more years. Specific issues: As we are moving forward with the future roadmap of getting rid of SAP BW, currently working on bringing data to HANA sidecar system through SAP Extractors using SDI replications and we need assistance (Technology consultants with more HANA System Admin expertise) in solving the following issues. Perform a complete system health check(ECC and HANA sidecar) and provide the feedback. Data load failure issues when pulling large amount of data from ECC to HANA. Ex: 2LIS 13 VDITM and 0FI GL 14. Thorough checking of all HANA system configuration parameters for its highest performance. Persistent memory is not getting released automatically when the data load failed.
