Here's what you will be doing:
  • The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general building maintenance in addition to maintenance and repair of equipment. This role will maintain a clean and safe work area and operate equipment in a safe manner.
  • Maintenance and repair of forklifts and other industrial equipment
  • General building maintenance
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Lawn care/snow removal
  • Carpentry/painting
  • Electrical Work
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner
  • Report any and all unsafe conditions
  • All other duties as assigned
This is what you will need:
  • Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse atmosphere
  • General building maintenance skills
  • Ability to efficiently utilize general hand tools, saws, drills, etc.
  • Must have knowledge of forklift or industrial equipment repair and operation.
  • Able to multitask and manage competing priorities
